Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets rules for using Pulsedew. It supplements our Terms of Service. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

2. Prohibited content and spam broadcasts

You must not use broadcasts, notifications, or wallet pass content to send:

  • Unsolicited promotional messages to people who have not enrolled in your program
  • Spam, chain messages, or excessive frequency that constitutes harassment
  • Content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or discriminatory
  • Misleading offers, false urgency, or deceptive marketing
  • Content promoting illegal goods, services, or activities
  • Malware links or phishing attempts
You are responsible for ensuring broadcasts comply with applicable electronic communications laws, including obtaining valid consent where required.

3. Fraud and fake scans

You must not:

  • Create fake customer accounts or synthetic scan activity
  • Manipulate loyalty progress, points, or gift card balances fraudulently
  • Share, copy, or reuse customer QR codes to bypass authentication
  • Use automated tools to scrape, probe, or overload the Service
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, duplicate detection, or security controls
We monitor for unusual scan patterns and may suspend accounts pending investigation.

4. Unlawful gift card practices

When selling or issuing gift cards through Pulsedew, you must not:

  • Sell gift cards for illegal products or services
  • Misrepresent gift card terms, expiry, or restrictions
  • Refuse honouring valid balances without lawful justification
  • Use gift cards to facilitate money laundering or tax evasion
  • Violate applicable gift card, consumer protection, or financial regulations in your jurisdiction
You are solely responsible for compliance with local gift card laws.

5. Reselling, scraping, and reverse engineering

You must not:

  • Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without written agreement
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service or other merchants' programs
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the Service to build a competing product
  • Access accounts or data you are not authorised to access

6. Enforcement and account suspension

We may, at our discretion:

  • Issue a warning and request corrective action
  • Temporarily suspend account access
  • Permanently terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations
  • Report unlawful activity to relevant authorities
Where practicable, we will notify you of suspension and the reason. You may appeal enforcement decisions by contacting team@pvug.tech within 14 days.

7. Reporting violations

To report suspected abuse of the Pulsedew platform:

Include relevant details: merchant name, date, and description of the concern.

8. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
